I may be a bit late in announcing this, but better late than never.

There will be another Nico Live concert venue on Saturday, March 21 at SUNHALL in Osaka Shinsaibashi.
The musician list is quite expansive, with the likes of [TEST], Nakamura Ine (horsehead guy), and, of course, Tissue-Hime. As for the lovely nico singers, there seems to be mostly singers that often do VOCALOID song covers, like pico, puriko, anima, and, one of my favorites, usa, as well as other famous names like yonji and jigiru.

The video has all of the guests listed. If you’re in the area, good luck getting tickets, and if not, let’s hope for some leaked video footage.

I haven’t talked about her much lately, despite her album release that I was a teeny bit disappointed with. I did get that Dec. Seigura issue with Minorin on the cover. Probably should have saved up for Perfume’s portfolio photobook. >__>;

Anyway, her Message 02 DVD finally has a cover, as you can see above. Has a sort of bohemian feel to it, huh? If she were ever to release her own acoustic guitar songs album, I think a cover like this would be fitting. The price this time around jumped like 1000 yen or so, but Amazon has a nice discounted price if you pre-order.

Also, on her site they updated it with 2009 tour info, as well as the goods. Minorin will have her own fragrance on sale, too. ww I’m not kidding.

The year really is coming to a close so quickly. As the year draws to a close I look back and think, wow what a bunch of crappy shows we had (I still have yet to finish Kannagi despite having it all ready in my HD). Will this be the year I stop watching animu? I started the year with my obsessive Nico Singer stalking and ended it with my reunion with Perfume fandom. wwww Regardless, I’m going back to my countdown party. It’s my graduation year! \o/

You’ll all be happy to know that Perfume got the Album Award at 50th Nihon Record Taisho. (And A~chan messed up in the dance at the end; how cute. :P)

I’m not even kidding. This last month and a half I’ve been on a total Perfume high. Not that I’m saying that I just discovered them (I would say my following started circa 2006 with their Best album), but with all the hub-bub in the news lately surrounding the girls (hello, Kouhaku Utaga, Budokaaaaaaaan, and 1st photobook), I’ve quickly gone mad in Perfume fandom. It also helps that they’re mesmerisingly beautiful and have catchy songs with intricate dance routines. So why do I like them out of all the other girly j-pop idol-esque groups? Read more

Getting colder lately…

This proposal is not out of jest, it’s actually from following a certain blog that features an in-depth analyzation of Neo-Venezia, as well as comparing the Utopian society to the real deal. (I highly suggest anyone who’s a fan of the show to check out the site.) The entries I particularly enjoy are ones that extract hidden meanings within each episode, displaying Kozue’s ability as a philosopher, and possibly the optimistic Akari persona in reality. I’m ashamed to say I have nothing to give Minorin on her lovely 28th birthday, but I’ve come back here just to say お誕生日おめでとう! (Yeah, I wasn’t on hiatus… just er, busy. Yes.) A couple of nicochans have also given their gratitude as well.

Houkoholic made an informal post about her fanclub exclusive birthday event. Well, as informal as he could make it, what with the unfortunate setup and what have you. While the rest of the blogosphere raises their cups in light of this glorious day. Minorin was estatic to know she’s gracing the cover of Seiyuu Grand Prix’s December issue, despite having her tagline quite litterally saying she’s a sparkly thing in a heap of poo. I’ve sent an agent to retrieve the mag for me regardless, hopefully with the poster the stores give out (maybe to replace the Hirano one I have on the wall now). But who cares about the details, right?

I hope Minorin has a nice, slow day tomorrow, preferrably with family or friends and such. I’ll await for your album grace its presence in my mailbox (ooer).
