I can’t believe I missed this; payed so much attention to Minorin. A short PV (longer than the one I linked before) for Aaya’s next single, Neophilia, is now showing on the Lantis website. [Also uploaded on Niconico]

I think I’ll like this single better than LOVE★GUN. Her voice sounds a bit smoother in this one and it still continues the rock theme. Kind of wierd seeing her not move her arms at all throughout the PV preview… (I guess I’ve gotten too used to Minorin’s hand dancing in her PVs, lol) Looking forward to this release (Nov. 7th), as well as the full PV.

Ok, so it’s only one day after the album was released… not that bad. But the last 24 hrs having been quite the excruciating wait for the CD to arrive, avoiding any kind of preview of the CD to preserve its new feeling. I’ve long noticed Nyoro~n Fansubs sketchy translations; I was a bit turned off from their Gurren Lagann subs. Not that I care about bringing a fansub group’s failures to the light, but at least people are aware, now.

OT: Man, I wish my Contact album arrived already. I need to blog about all of the updates for Minorin in a nice, compact entry. orz

The popular Japanese video streaming site, Nico Nico Douga, will hold a film festival. The date of the festival has not been announced yet, but video submissions will be open on November 1st and end on November 11th. Videos are limited to 15 seconds min. to 1 minute max. No copyrighted works are permitted (unless used upon request of the original creators). More info at the contest page.

I don’t think there will be many anime submissions, but there’s always a possibility.

Most of this is old news (ok, all of it), but I need to blog about it anyway.

First, there’s going to be an ARIA concert, how sweet is that. It’ll feature many of the composers from the series and OP/ED singers, as well as some seiyuu. I really hope there will be a DVD recording of this because I could only wish to attend it live.

If you have the ARIETTA OVA OP/ED Single CD, the concert info came with that as well. And if you haven’t seen the OVA yet, you are defiantly missing out on some feel-good warm and fuzzies as well as some yuri undertones, not to mention the touching OP/ED themes.

Second, the 3rd season of ARIA is in production. It will be called ARIA the ORIGINATION. I can hardly wait. But for now, Sketchbook will be my feel-good anime for the season. Check out the site: Aria Company
