Minorin posted on her blog today a link to the new page previewing clips from her behind-the-scenes DVD. It includes making of the video clips; part from concert and events; even clips from her street performing days. If you’re a sucker for DVDs like this, you’d ought to pre-order a copy.

It also includes PVs for her 3 singles — Shijin no Tabi, from her album Contac; Kimi ga Kureta ano hi, her first single to carry her on the charts; and Jyunpaku Sanctuary, her first re-start single, which has never revealed its PV until now. At the bottom of the page shows 50 sec previews of the 3 PVs. The one for Jyunpaku Sanctuary looks like it was shot at the place Minorin described in this blog entry — so pretty~ She’s finally smiling in one of her PVs, too. lol

The DVD releases Dec. 26th. There’s also an event for the DVD on the 7th.

The cover art and title for her last single in the 3-single campaign is released. The single will be called MonStAR and will come out Dec. 5th. Very pop, Vivienne Westwood inspired, if I say so myself.

And I’m just going off on a tangent here, but the more I look at Aaya’s logo, the more I’m reminded of Avril Lavigne’s. I don’t think this is exactly coincidence…

The year is almost over, but before that, we celebrate another happy birthday to our beloved Minorin! This is the year that I converted to minorhythm, and I continue to spread the Minorin love everyday. (I sound like a cultist, lol) For Aaya I went over her activity this year, but I realize you can see all of her activity on her website.

Minorin talked about her birthday live goods on her blog today, mentioning how she wanted to wear the wristband to sleep (probably due to her excitement). Apparently, her logo also changed a bit, with an addition of wings. The goods will be sold at the concert (Monday 11/18) before the show starts and will be available for online purchase the next day. Some ground rules are listed on the site about purchasing.

The items being sold are:

sports towels (￥2,500)	wristbands (￥1,000)
2008 desk calendars (￥1,800)	postcard set of 5 (￥800)

(You can also see items available at last year’s birthday live on the internet purchase site. Of course, they are sold out.)If they ship to the states, I’d want to order a calendar… maybe a wristband (although they’re kind of out of style nowadays). To those attending the concert, have fun; you guys are so lucky.

There is a contest being held for JAM Project in Nico Nico Douga. Apparently you have to use their single “Rocks” remixed into a video and send it in. I’m not really good with Japanese, so I don’t even know if what I’m saying is all that true. More details are on the site and the video can be seen here. There are also some events dates for 2008 onsite.

I never really cared much for JAM Project, but hey, they know about Nico Nico Douga! I wonder how many other anime artists will follow this…

ANN has confirmed rumors [see DM] that a teaser for Lucky ☆ Star is included as an extra on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Volume 4 DVD. According to the last frame of the teaser, Lucky ☆ Star is “coming soon from Kadokawa Pictures USA and Bandai Entertainment Inc.” The full teaser can be seen on YouTube. Bandai Entertainment has declined to comment on the release.

I just waited to blog this when it was official. It was inevitable though, since in the trailer scene the main gag was Aaya switching back and forth between her Haruhi voice and her Konata voice. I kind of have a bad feeling about this…

Now what, a Lucky Star dance contest + concert at AX ‘08? (Hey, it’d give a reason for Aaya to come back, right?)
