Following up the previous entry, a Nico News blog entry highlighted the announcement of のど飴 (nodoame) becoming another singer. He’s probably the most rememberable for singing a kickass, GAR songs with the other guys. The blog entry does not indicate whether or not any other members will be added to the group. If that’s the case, I can’t say I’m disappointed in the ones chosen, but maybe more singers should have been added (i.e. kanipaaaaaaaaa~n).

On the lantis site, they uploaded a photo of gomu peeking into the recording studio. Looks like thier faces will remain anonymous.

In the midst of my Hatsune Miku original song browsing a few weeks ago, I came across an AWESOME rendition of baker’s 「サウンド」 (sound) done by neko. Turns out he sings the song in pretty decent English and his voice resembles something of ELLEGARDEN, which is a good thing in my tastes.

That’s right, Lantis hasn’t given up the Nico phenomenon yet. If you thought Lucky Star Douga was “ha ha, oh wow”, wait till this release comes out.According to Nico News, there will be a CD released of the kumikyoku song featuring popular Nico Singers stars. It’ll be produced by Lantis, with some help with Elements Garden (oooer~). So far they’ve announced the godly J and gomu (ゴム) and it’s expected for more artists to be announced. The CD will be on sale on March 5th, 2008 for ￥1200.

Personally, I hope some of my favorites get to be on the CD, especially nayuta (the Hirano Aya impersonator), Re:, gazelle (ガゼル), Fuumin (ふーみん), and the one I worship the most, kanipan （かにぱん。)

[EDIT - 1/25] Nayuta has been announced as another singer! I guess for someone who impersonates a very prominent Lantis singer, she’s a shoe-in.

So the pattern of announcement is every 3 days, if you haven’t noticed already.
