Some of you may have wondered what that “???” part of the navigation on Minorin’s site was. Well, as most have speculated, she announced on her blog that she will open an official fanclub called 「m.s.s」, short for minori smile seasons. It will open 4/1, although like most fanclubs, you’ll probably need to supply an address of your residence in Japan since shipping overseas is hassle. The page is up already, however.
I’m pretty sure this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke… right?

Other than that, you can catch a sample of Minorin’s new single, 「melty tale storage」, on Moontube, which was played on her weekly lantis radio show 「minorhythm」. And Saturday was her last tour performance for February. Hopefully those who attend the March dates will get to here the new single live. It’ll be out 3/26.

Today, Lantis announced サリヤ人 and ゼブラ as additional members for the group; both are prominent in the nico singer-sphere. I don’t highly anticipate anymore singer announcements since the release date is only 2 weeks away (March 5th).

Eh, かにぱん。is too good for them. :P

A new medley meme has sprung up recently within the Nico Nico Douga singers community. The first one was released back in November, but it has been increasing in popularity lately. It’s called “A medley of masterpiece !!!”, which, much like Kumikyoku Nico Nico Douga, is a mix of songs, sometimes sung by different singers.

The list of artists has finally been finalized, which hasn’t changed much from my previous announcement. The artists are J, ゴム, nayuta, Re:, のど飴, A姉, and yonji. The cover art has also been released, which you can see at the top.

I can’t say I’m disappointed, but the member count is just so little. There are tons of really prominent nico singers out there, but I guess that’s all they have room for.

社長 has been added as another member. The mysterious others still remain as we draw closer to March 5th.

Just when I thought they were done announcing the singers, the site announced A姉 and yonji as additional singers! I suppose in the video posted from the entry before, there were more people than singers announced, so I guess this was already coming.I really hope they get more people, i.e. kanipan…

Going on a tangent, this sudden caramelldansen hype on nico is driving me insane! Practically most of the latest Nico Nico Douga Ranking (#40) is filled with them.

Minorin announced on her blog today that the title of her new single will be called Melty tale storage. She described how she will be the “narrator” in the song, as well as the “hero”. I hope it will be something interesting.

Single is due out 3/26.

Also, this past weekend was the first two performances of her live tour. Her blog entries expressed much excitement and gratitude, extending even to the days she doesn’t perform.

I really did wish we can see their faces, but I guess that’s the whole point, isn’t it.

PS: Happy Lunar New Year. I heard some fireworks an hour ago (at midnight). Hope other neighbors aren’t pissed, lol. I await family celebration on Saturday.
