If there’s one thing Negima you should watch, it’s the Ala Alba ODA. Actually, it’s the only thing you should watch. Forget the Xebec anime, the SHAFT anime, even the OVAs, and especially the Live Action (unless you’re looking for humor); Akamatsu has done something right. I think everyone fell in love with Ruka in this scene.

With summer at its early stages and me already becoming bored, the lack of viewing material drives me back to dramas. It’s been a while since I took a bite out of a juicy, angst-ridden, romantically challenged, tragic drama that serves as one of my guilty pleasures. I don’t think this warrants a review to tell how bad this is, just watch the 1st part and you can tell.

Oh yeah, Makie still “fails” in this version, too. At least this time it’s not Hocchan.

It was painful, but quite entertaining. Somehow I might find myself watching this… orz

And did I mention that there will be 24 episodes? That’s pretty much two seasons for a live action series. Sometimes I question how much money Akamatsu really has…
