Minorin’s site announced that the last performance of her 1st Live Tour (3/23) was recorded, thus will be released on DVD. The sale date will be 6/25 for a small price of ￥5,000.

Maybe that’s why they put up the manners notice before the last performance…. Below is a picture from the last performance, posted in her blog; Minorin w/band and staff.

Minorin talked about her birthday live goods on her blog today, mentioning how she wanted to wear the wristband to sleep (probably due to her excitement). Apparently, her logo also changed a bit, with an addition of wings. The goods will be sold at the concert (Monday 11/18) before the show starts and will be available for online purchase the next day. Some ground rules are listed on the site about purchasing.

The items being sold are:

sports towels (￥2,500)	wristbands (￥1,000)
2008 desk calendars (￥1,800)	postcard set of 5 (￥800)

(You can also see items available at last year’s birthday live on the internet purchase site. Of course, they are sold out.)If they ship to the states, I’d want to order a calendar… maybe a wristband (although they’re kind of out of style nowadays). To those attending the concert, have fun; you guys are so lucky.

Most of this is old news (ok, all of it), but I need to blog about it anyway.

First, there’s going to be an ARIA concert, how sweet is that. It’ll feature many of the composers from the series and OP/ED singers, as well as some seiyuu. I really hope there will be a DVD recording of this because I could only wish to attend it live.

If you have the ARIETTA OVA OP/ED Single CD, the concert info came with that as well. And if you haven’t seen the OVA yet, you are defiantly missing out on some feel-good warm and fuzzies as well as some yuri undertones, not to mention the touching OP/ED themes.

Second, the 3rd season of ARIA is in production. It will be called ARIA the ORIGINATION. I can hardly wait. But for now, Sketchbook will be my feel-good anime for the season. Check out the site: Aria Company

There have been summaries/reviews of the concert and such elsewhere, but I’ll still post my thoughts on the DVD release, as well as the concert overall. Being bitter from the AX “concert”, this will probably be a terribly biased review. But this has been on the backburner for a while and it’s long overdue to be published, so I’ll just hurry up and submit it already. I apologize for delaying this post for so long. I knew it was going to be a long post, but here it is.

Ok, I’m pretty sure this year’s Anime Expo has been bashed to death, but I decided to wait a while before I jumped to conclusions and assume the worst. I still agree with a lot of other forumers and bloggers about the crapnosity of AX 07, but there have been some updates with the GoH in their respective blogs and what have you.
