Following up on the previous post, the winners for the video contest have been announced. Thier videos can be seen collectively here:

The video is kind of wierd with the embedded faux comments… The choices were pretty good. I especially like MosaMosa’s doo wop version and えすと’s game version.

[Music] JAM Project Contest in Nico Nico Douga

November 13th, 2007 | Category: Events, Music, News

There is a contest being held for JAM Project in Nico Nico Douga. Apparently you have to use their single “Rocks” remixed into a video and send it in. I’m not really good with Japanese, so I don’t even know if what I’m saying is all that true. More details are on the site and the video can be seen here. There are also some events dates for 2008 onsite.

I never really cared much for JAM Project, but hey, they know about Nico Nico Douga! I wonder how many other anime artists will follow this…

[Nico] Nico Nico International Film Festival (国際ニコニコ映画祭)

October 18th, 2007 | Category: Main, Miscellaneous, Nico Nico Douga

The popular Japanese video streaming site, Nico Nico Douga, will hold a film festival. The date of the festival has not been announced yet, but video submissions will be open on November 1st and end on November 11th. Videos are limited to 15 seconds min. to 1 minute max. No copyrighted works are permitted (unless used upon request of the original creators). More info at the contest page.

I don’t think there will be many anime submissions, but there’s always a possibility.
