Mei is currently a senior at Milpitas High School in California. Her interests include music, graphic design, art, languages, and theatre, other than anime/manga. The blog was established when she figured that she needed a place to express her opinions on the anime/manga industry and so on. Since then, she blogs her whenever inspiration strikes during her free time.
Mei is also known as Shinmeiryuu in other parts of the intarwebs, like Mahora Academy, IRC, and what have you. She also attends FanimeCon (San Jose) religiously since 2005.
Other than blogging, Mei also messes around with photoshop, plays piano/ukulele, sews clothes/costumes, paints, fansubs, reads other anime blogs, surfs nico douga, and idles on the Rizon IRC server.
